Welcome to The Larder Epicerie Fine
We are a family owned fine food store with an emphasis on cheeses. The store has a French flavour but we stock products from all around the world. Our aim is to stock quality products ranging from Australian and international cheeses, honeys, conserves, fresh and dry pastas, ice creams, oils, vinegars, mustards, truffles, herbs, bread, chocolates, coffee, tea, soups, stocks, sauces, ready to go meals, Asian and Indian sauces and chutneys and much more.
We consider ourselves to be more of an Epicerie Fine or specialty grocer store. We bring you the good products difficult to find anywhere else.
The produce we carry have been carefully chosen in regards to its integrity and quality. We have a range of organic and gluten free products such as quinoa, pastas, sauces, rice, grains and more.
We also stock 'Brasserie Bread' sourdough bread which is delivered fresh every day. You can also order them online at Brasserie Bread and come into our store and pick it up!
Where We Are
We are conveniently located at 489 Marrickville Road, Dulwich Hill.
There is ample parking behind both strips of the road.
Who We Are
Since moving to Australia in the late 90s, we have often pondered on the thought of opening an Epicerie fine. Why? Well having lived in France and tasted the many gourmet delights we found that getting hold of them here was very challenging. We spent a significant amount of time searching, driving here, there and everywhere. So, when push came to shove, we finally decided to do it. And, here we are. Dominique is French and is somewhat moving back to his roots in regards to food. His family has a rich history in cheese and wine and his knowledge of these two areas is substantial. Janette began her working life in hospitality and has always had a very keen interest in good food.
